Get The App Pack FREE Through An Repo Source! (No Computer Required!)

Posted by Jody Mitoma on January 27, 2008

App Packk It looks like ipodtouchmaster05 (known as ‘ipodtouchmaster’ on youtube), in contribution with’s member; homeruntilly, have figured out a way to get the 1.1.3 firmware $20.00 “App Pack” on a repo source. It is now much easier for the average Joe to download and use the App Pack that Apple wants us to pay for, for free!

Here is the quote from the thread:

here is a repository i made to get all the iphone applications for free including the webclips and wiggly icons. So you need a jailbroken 1.1.3 to install this. It does NOT give you any of the iphone preferences!!! so your ipod stays an ipod but with the iphone apps! now to use the you need to install 1.1.3 fix mail to save your password. that is included in my source.

Add this source to your ipod:

Then go to category Ipodtouchmater install the package called The iPhone 1.1.3 Apps.. and there you go! then install 1.1.3 fix mail if you use the

Much thanks to homeruntilly for helping me out with this!

I, Jody Mitoma, can confirm that this does in fact work. I just did it now, without problem. 🙂

i did that finished it worked but when i went to download some more stuff it finishes the downloading part and is about to install but jumps rite back to springboard!!!! Lil help plz email me PLZ ipodtouchmaster wont reply to me plz someone!!!!

  4. Ahhh, this issue occurs when you have too many things installed on your iPod Touch.

The best way to free up some space without having to actually delete too many games/apps/widgets that you’ve downloaded, would be to, well – in the contrary – delete two or three games/apps/widgets (but not all of them!), then download the BossTool application, which will allow you to move the Applications folder to a new location on the iPod Touch harddrive or something along these lines anyway… Once that is done, you will go from ~1MB of free space, to somewhere closer to 25 – 50MB’s of free disk space… Which then, you may download many more games/apps/widgets.

    Also, I e-mailed you.

    Hope this helped! Take care.

50 mbs that’s it??? man i had 959 mb of stuff on 1.1.1 but now i can’t download crap!!! but wut if the bosstools doesnt download it gets to the installing part and jumps back to the springboard MAN this is fustrating i swear!!!

  6. Have you tried doing what I said?… You must delete a few apps/games before downloading BossTool, lad.

… You had 959MB’s of extra apps and games on 1.1.1?… What the -hell- did you have on that sucker?! I mean, hell, the average app/game is 1MB for goodness sakes. (I’m not talking about music, videos, and photos here…)

    Anyway, best of luck.

Superb blog you have here but I was wanting to know if you knew of any message boards that cover the same topics discussed in this article?
I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get feed-back from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!
