[APPS] How to get the new “App Pack” (5 new apps for iPod Touch) for FREE!

According to many members of the ipodtouchfans forum – found in this thread, this method in fact does not work. This also goes for those who are using the 1.1.3 firmware.

According to Exosion (a member of the iPodTouchFans.com forums), he and iPodTouchMaster05 have figured out a way to get the “App Pack” just recently released by Apple for the IPod Touch (which was previously only available for the iPhone – unless you owned a jailbroken iPod Touch) onto your 1.1.3 firmware iPod Touch… FOR FREE! Check below for the complete how to guide!

Note: They are currently not sure if this method works on 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 iPod Touch’s.

2) http://onehitclick.com/ipod/nikita.zip <— DO NOT UNZIP THAT

PRE-PROCESSING
Before you start, you MUST have upgraded your ipod to the STANDARD edition of 1.1.3. This will not work unless you are on 1.1.3.

THE METHOD
1) Connect your ipod to your computer. Make sure iTunes isn’t open.
2) Run the first program listed (iPhoneList) and wait for some files to show up. (Yours may look a little different than mine

3) Create a folder called Nikita.

4) Take the ZIP’ed file, and place it inside that folder. LEAVE IT ZIPPED.

5) Once placed in there, close iPhoneDrive and open iTunes. Sync your ipod like you normally would and you are done! =] If you get lost on any step, please post why.

WE ARE STILL LOOKING TO SEE IF THIS WORKS ON 1.1.2. IF YOU ARE WILLING TO TRY THE METHOD, STILL USE IPHONEDRIVE, NOT SFTP’ING INTO YOUR IPOD. PLEASE PM ME THE RESULTS.
